Manatex.digital training for MSc International Business students in the IMTBS (France)

On the 9th of October, the Manatex.digital team held a six-hour training session for MSc International Business students at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (France). The training, centered on the theme “Export Destination,” aimed to equip future international business developers and export managers with essential skills to strategically guide SMEs through the complexities of global expansion.

Small and medium-sized companies often export based on chance rather than through a well-thought-out strategy. We believe it is crucial for the next generation of professionals to understand how to choose export destinations wisely to maximize potential ROI. Modern digital tools like Manatex.digital (currently in beta) are instrumental in helping future exporters identify the right markets and approach the process strategically.

During the training, students were tasked with solving real-world cases to identify optimal export destinations for four SMEs—each a producer of consumer goods from different origins:

A Polish cosmetics producer
A French perfume producer
A dietary supplements producer from the UK
A French food tech start-up

Stage1: For the first 3 hours, students did manual work, collecting data from different open sources and making decisions on their criteria.

Stage2: Then for 2 hours, they went through the Manatex.digital verification process with their initial solution and prepared a final presentation with the solution.

Stage3: Students presented their solutions (3-4 pre-selected countries and 1 final choice for potential investment).

In the end, the Manatex.digital team awarded the best team of students.
